Currently I have begun to produce my Gant chart. I have never created a Gant chart before this is my first attempt.

Areas of improvement

I think that next time I would send out more than one letter as the one that I sent I didn’t get a reply of the company. So if I sent a few out then at least out of the three one of them would of replied and posted me a brochure.

Meeting one, I think that I could have got more involved in the meeting and produce more information for the group.  During this meeting Mr Chatton said a good source of information that helped me after I identified the hardware’s that only certain hardware’s will be available in the school.

Meeting two I felt more confident in this meeting in form with progression and discussing the ICT tools. Also what hardware and software is available along with the possible and alternative solutions. A weakness with this meeting was that the meeting was meant to be scheduled for 45 minutes and in those 45 minutes we didn’t finish the meeting. So in future for meetings what could be improved is having less information on the agenda and the allocated time for the meeting to be increased to an hour. This would allow the meeting to be complete successfully and in full instead of skipping points to make sure that the meeting is finished.

Mr Chatton also provided us with further reading, to complete the information that we missed out on.

I have now completed two meetings with Mr Chatton, in first we found out all of the exact tasks that we will be carrying out and all of the deadlines for the tasks. In the second meeting we discussed all of the hardware’s and software’s. Also the alternative and possible solutions.

The weaknesses which I have identified would be trying to collect or receive brochures from other companies. They’re not reliable enough and don’t always get back to you, this way i wasn’t receiving my brochure. Also it still hasn’t the arrived the brochure i requested, I don’t think now it will either.

The strengths which I identified is that over the past few lessons we have been working towards the Gant chart. This will allow me to keep track of my progess and make me a time keeper with my work.
